About CardTrack
CardTrack is an independent Pokémon card price guide. We track one honest market value for 20,584 cards across 181 sets — raw and graded — and refresh every figure daily from real marketplace data. No affiliate-inflated prices, no black box.
What we do
Most price “guides” either copy a single source or quietly mark prices up. CardTrack does neither. We pull live data from multiple marketplaces, anchor raw values to the most liquid market collectors actually trade on, and price graded cards from real completed sales — then show our working on every card so you can judge it for yourself.
Where the numbers come from
- TCGplayer — live near-mint and per-condition prices, the anchor for raw (ungraded) values.
- eBay sold listings — real completed sales, the source of truth for graded prices (PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC and more), shown with the sample size.
- Cardmarket — European pricing, used as a cross-check and for regional context.
- PriceCharting — broad historical coverage as a supporting signal.
Everything is reconciled, sanity-checked and re-blended once a day. The full method — including how we read confidence ratings and where we're honest about uncertainty — is on our methodology page.
Independent & honest
CardTrack is built and run independently by collectors, not by a marketplace or a grading company, so our prices have no reason to lean high or low. It was founded by Josh Lingenfelter. Our figures are aggregated market estimates for informational purposes — not appraisals, not PSA-official values, and not financial advice. When a market is thin and we can't price it precisely, we say so rather than guessing.
