“Complete in NM” sums the cheapest near-mint copy of every card number in the set. “Complete in PSA 10” sums each card’s PSA 10 value where known (coverage shown when partial). Blended market estimates — not a checkout price.
How this is calculated
Complete in NM = Σ cheapest near-mint copy of every card number; Complete in PSA 10 = Σ PSA 10 value of each card where known
Assumptions
- One copy per card number; variants such as reverse holos are not added on top.
- Near-mint totals use blended market values, so a real checkout will differ by seller, condition and shipping.
- PSA 10 totals only cover cards with a PSA 10 price; the coverage figure shows how much of the set that is.
Complete set vs master set
A complete set is one copy of every card number in the set — every card the catalogue lists for it, including secret rares numbered past the printed set total. That is what the totals on this page price. A master set goes further: it adds every reverse holo and other parallel printing of those numbers, so it holds far more cards and costs more than the complete-set figure. Collectors do not all draw the master-set line in the same place (stamped promos and “grand master sets” are argued over), which is why a single master-set price is hard to pin down.
Where the catalogue splits a subset out of a main set — a Shiny Vault or a Galarian Gallery — it appears as its own row, so add the two together if you want both.

What drives a set's value
Chase cards weigh heavily in a set's completion cost. In the median set of 60+ cards, the single most expensive card alone accounts for 21% of the whole near-mint total, so a set's value can move a long way on one card's price. Card count matters less than you might expect: Ascended Heroes has 295 cards and costs $4,829 to complete, while Legend Maker has 93 and costs $7,880.
PSA 10 totals run far higher than near-mint because every card is priced as a gem-mint slab, and they are only as complete as the PSA 10 prices behind them — check the coverage figure before comparing sets. Set completion FAQ
How much does it cost to complete a Pokémon set?
Among the 134 sets with 60 or more cards that CardTrack prices, completing one in near-mint runs from $78 (Shining Fates) to $60,564 (Skyridge), with a median of $1,853. Each figure sums the cheapest near-mint copy of every card number at blended market value.
Which Pokémon sets are cheapest to complete?
Of the sets with 60+ cards, the cheapest to complete in near-mint today are Shining Fates ($78 for 73 cards), Emerging Powers ($152 for 98 cards), Crown Zenith ($242 for 160 cards). Smaller releases such as POP Series and McDonald's collections are left out because they are not full expansions, and they are not always cheaper: check them in the table.
Why is the PSA 10 total sometimes shown with a ~?
Because not every card in the set has a PSA 10 price. The tilde and coverage figure tell you what share of the set the PSA 10 total actually prices — a low-coverage total understates the real cost.
Does the total include reverse holos and variants?
No. It counts one copy per card number, using the cheapest printing CardTrack prices for that number. A master set, which adds every reverse holo and other parallel printing, costs more.
