What does 'buzz' mean here?
Sum over mentions of 1 + log10(1 + upvotes + comments) per post and 0.3 + 0.5·log10(1 + upvotes) per comment, with up to a 2× bonus when Google search interest for the Pokémon is rising more than 20%. Log weighting means a 5,000-upvote post counts about 3.7×, not 5,000×. A Pokémon needs at least 2 mentions in the window to qualify.
What does 'price flat' mean?
Normally: the card's 30-day price move is within ±3%. Right now CardTrack's own 30-day trend is being withheld sitewide while a pricing-basis reset settles, so every qualifying card falls under 'flat' by default rather than a confirmed flat price — check a card's own page or the 7-day/90-day movers for its current price.
How often does the radar update?
The scan is refreshed daily over a rolling window: top posts of the past 7 days, plus the most recent comments, per subreddit, across r/PokemonTCG, r/PokeInvesting, r/PokemonCardValue, r/pkmntcg, r/pkmntcgdeals, r/Pokemoncards, r/pkmntcgcollections, r/pkmntcgtrades, r/PokemonPlaza. The freshness line at the top shows when it last ran.
Is a rising buzz score a buy signal?
No. It tells you where the conversation is, not where value is — a card can trend for reasons that have nothing to do with its price (a reprint, a show appearance, a meme). Not investment advice.
