About オルタージェネシス (Sun & Moon series, SM12)

オルタージェネシス (Sun & Moon series, SM12) numbers 95 cards on its printed run, and CardTrack's Japanese catalogue holds 117 in total: the extra 22 are secret rares whose collector numbers sit above 95. The set covers 76 different Pokémon. By rarity the cards split into 7 tiers: Common (43), Uncommon (32), Super Rare (13), Rare (10), Hyper Rare (6), Double Rare (6) and Ultra Rare (3).

The tracked cards add up to about $1,943, and the 8 most valuable of them carry 80% of that. The most valuable card is the Arceus (アルセウス&ディアルガ&パルキアGX) #100/095 at $760.36 raw, around $1,225 in PSA 10, while the median card is worth about $1.31. 49 cards carry a PSA 10 price; across the cards with both figures, a PSA 10 copy sells for about 11.3× the raw price at the median.

67 illustrators are credited across the set, led by 5ban Graphics (6), PLANETA Tsuji (6) and Ken Sugimori (5). Raw prices are CardTrack's near-mint figure for the Japanese printing; graded ladders come from CardTrack's graded-price feed, and 61 of the 117 cards have completed eBay sales behind them. Cards with a graded ladder but no raw price are shown at their PSA 10 value so they still sort. CardTrack also tracks 2 sealed products for this set, led by the Alter Genesis Booster Box at about $385.00.
