About the Shadowless printing
The Shadowless Clefairy Doll is from the earliest print run of Base, before a drop-shadow was added to the right side of the artwork box. Identify it by the FLAT artwork frame (no shadow), thinner HP font and slightly different colouring versus the common Unlimited print. Shadowless copies are markedly scarcer than Unlimited and carry a strong premium — for the Base Set chase cards, a large one.
