Why there are two columns: a floor and a ceiling
- The right-hand column counts every listing that closed on the offer route (1,854), treating those recorded at the ask as 100%.
- That is the ceiling for how close to the ask offers land; the left column is the floor.
- The true figure sits between the two.

Offers left out of the discount figures· under 30% of the ask, not counted
3 accepted offers under 30% of the ask are left out of the offer-ratio figures above (median, quartiles, under 80%).
| Card | Grade | Ask | Paid | Median sale elsewhere |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PSA 8 | $2,500 | $500 | $321 (39 sales) | |
| PSA 9 | $100 | $22.23 | $30 (94 sales) | |
| PSA 10 | $95 | $28 | $41 (95 sales) |
Why these are left out
An accepted offer under 30% of the ask more likely reflects an ask that was never a real price than a negotiation. The card's median sale elsewhere is shown for comparison.

How much below the asking price do offers on graded Pokémon cards go?
On PSA-graded Fanatics Collect buy-now listings (24 Aug to 3 Oct 2026), accepted offers below the ask paid a median 88.9% of it, 11.1% off. 15.3% were below 80% of the ask.

They sell at the full ask less often: 76.9% of PSA-graded Fanatics Collect listings under $50 sold at the ask, against 33.5% at $5,000 and over (24 Aug to 3 Oct 2026).
How often do graded Pokémon cards sell at the full asking price?

Method: how CardTrack built these figures
How the figures are built: what is counted, where the prices come from, thresholds and caveats
The two halves
- The asking price is the buy-now listing as CardTrack's ledger recorded it on Fanatics Collect, from 24 Aug 2026.
- The outcome (sold at the ask, or the amount of an accepted offer, and the day) comes from PSA's auction price records, via CardTrack's outcomes file of 4 Oct 2026.
- A listing needs both, so the window runs 24 Aug to 3 Oct 2026.
Three outcomes
- Sold at the ask: a fixed-price sale.
- Offer below the ask: an accepted offer with a lower amount. Every percentage of the ask is read from these.
- Offer at the ask: an accepted offer recorded at exactly the ask. CardTrack treats that as the feed returning the ask, not a known price, so these are reported on their own and the at-ask share is given as a range.
Scope
- PSA-graded English cards only: raw listings and other graders are out, as are 7 titles naming a second grader beside PSA.
- 2,262 Japanese PSA listings had no known outcome and are not in the sample.
- eBay is not used: its feeds do not carry the amount of an accepted best offer.
- Offers under 30% of the ask are left out of the distribution (3 listings, listed above).
- Groups with fewer than 30 below-ask offers show a dash.
Coverage
67.2% of the 8,290 PSA buy-now listings in the window have a known outcome. Listings without one may still be open, so they are not counted as sales.
