Not much drama this month, and honestly, that's fine by me. The CardTrack 100 nudged up just 1.2% across the 287 or so Lorcana cards we track closely enough to trust the pricing on, and if you squint at the top of the leaderboard, one name is doing all the talking: Mickey Mouse. Four different Mickey prints made our top risers list this month, from the humble Promo Expansion 1 Mickey Mouse (up 20.6% to $101) all the way to the First Chapter Mickey and Archazia's Island Mickey, both up mid-to-high teens. Even the big-ticket Fabled Mickey climbed 14.4% to $644. When the mouse himself is leading the charge across four different sets, that's not a coincidence — it's collectors circling back to the character who started it all.

The other side of the ledger was rougher, and it's all coming from one set: Wilds Unknown. Mr. Incredible dropped a painful 30.1% to $137, Jessie fell 28.6%, You've Got a Friend in Me lost more than a quarter of its value, and Jack-Jack Parr slid nearly 22%. That's a pretty concentrated correction for one release, which tells me early hype on Wilds Unknown chase cards ran ahead of itself and is now settling back to earth. Worth watching whether that stabilizes or keeps bleeding into next month.

Against the rest of the trading card world, Lorcana had a perfectly respectable, unspectacular month. Magic led the pack at +2.9%, One Piece edged up 1.6%, and Lorcana's +1.2% sat just ahead of Yu-Gi-Oh's +0.7%. Pokémon was the real outlier, down a rough 8.1%, so if you're diversified across TCGs, Lorcana quietly did its job as the steady hand. Stack it against traditional assets and the story's similar — gold rose 1.5%, Bitcoin ran up 2.5%, and the S&P 500 basically flatlined at -0.1%. Lorcana landing right in that mix, ahead of stocks and gold, behind crypto, feels like a sign this market is maturing rather than just riding hype waves.

If you're building a collection or just watching values, this is a good month to browse Disney Lorcana prices and see where the quiet money is moving, or take a look at the most valuable Lorcana cards to see how the classics are holding their ground. Nothing dramatic here, just Mickey doing Mickey things and one set cooling off. September's shaping up to be worth watching a little more closely.

Methodology

The CardTrack Disney Lorcana Index tracks a value-weighted basket of liquid Disney Lorcana cards. Card values are blended daily from TCGplayer, Cardmarket and PriceCharting. To avoid noise, movers require a minimum value and any implausible move (greater than ±75%) is excluded. This is market data, not financial advice — prices can move quickly.
