Method: how CardTrack built these figures
How the figures are built: what is counted, where the prices come from, thresholds and caveats
The comparison
- A group is one card, grade, printing and language, with 3+ sales of known price on eBay and 3+ at the house.
- Its ratio is the house median ÷ the eBay median.
- The headline is the median of those ratios, so each card counts once however often it sold. The interval is a 95% bootstrap over cards (2,000 draws).
Prices
- Price paid, buyer's premium included: Fanatics Collect weekly auctions at hammer × 1.2, Goldin at hammer × 1.22, Alt as reported.
- eBay is the item price. Postage is in neither, and no seller fee is estimated for any venue.
eBay's format
- Each eBay sale's format is read from the raw feed rows that carry it: auction, fixed price, accepted offer, unknown, or conflicting between feeds.
- The headline compares house auctions with eBay auctions; the fixed-price and pooled comparisons sit beside it.
Window and coverage
- 15 Jul 2026 to 14 Oct 2026 (92 days).
- eBay coverage ramps through July and dips 16 Aug–31 Aug; the Scrydex feed stops on 30 September; Goldin is thin.
- Within-period comparisons are in the sensitivity table and the CSV.
