Rarest Yu-Gi-Oh Cards

The scarcest pull-able rarities are Ghost Rare, Starlight Rare and Quarter Century Secret Rare — each falls at roughly one per box or rarer. Beyond those, one-of-a-kind tournament prize cards and error/misprint cards are rarer still.

Rarity treatment, playability and age. A card in a premium rarity (Starlight, Ghost, Collector's or Secret Rare), that's also tournament-relevant or nostalgic, in a low-print early set, commands the most — and high grades multiply it.

A Starlight Rare (also called Alternate Rare) has a distinctive full-card sparkle foil and is one of the rarest modern pulls — around one per case. They're chase cards and price accordingly, especially for meta staples.
